MilkClover1

The design is called MilkClover1 and is a small flower/plant shaped lamp. For this upcycle design I used the middle part of plastic milk containers. Just by bending a plastic strip and connecting the ends, a very friendly and interesting shape was created. This lamp is made up out of connecting three such parts.

When I looked at the result it made me think of a clover. That’s where the name is derived from. The number 1 is, well you may have guessed it, the first design in a possible small series using the same basic parts. Because when I created the small bended part, I immediately saw possibilities for a bigger and maybe even much bigger lampshade. The lampstand in the photo is made from discarded pallet wood and was used for the interior fair Woonbeurs where I exhibited with upcycleDZINE in 2014.
